ANOTHER YEAR
The new Sick/Tired record "The Lifetaker" landed at PRGNT headquarters today. 7 rippers on 500 slabs of black wax. For those that don't know, Sick/Tired come from the great state of Illinois and are anything but newcomers. They have been steadily killing it since the beginning getting better with every release. This record was recorded and mixed by Andy Nelson of Weekend Nachos and I think it is the best representation of them to date. Artwork by Dan Rossiter and Sick/Tired logo by Mark Mccoy.
**This is their 2nd single out this month I believe. Cowabunga has the other release and I highly advise checking that out as well.

BIG UPDATE
The Sea of Shit 7" is now out and available to order. 500 copies pressed on black vinyl. This is a split release with Idoneum Bello records from Germany. Head over to the store to check it out.
We updated the distro with some new shit and more will be added in the coming weeks.
The Sick/Tired tests have been approved and the records should be arriving shortly. There will be some sort of Chicago deal for all you windy city freaks.
In other news we, Skvlt, is recording next week for a new 7" that will be coming out on PRGNT in February. A tour version will be put on tape for January.

VELD "UNTITLED" CS
After many experimentations the solo black metal project brought to us by Jeff Poleon(Veloz, Skvlt) has developed into a full band. VELD has played two shows with no intention of stopping. The songs presented on this tape are what the band has been playing live. This is an edition of 24 and comes housed in a metal box with a full color insert. Be on the lookout for more shows, the constant production of releases and a possible winter tour.
LICH "DEMO" CS
Finally the Lich demo is done and up for sale. If you missed out on the last update, Lich is a newer band from the UK sharing members with Battle of Wolf 359. If you are a fan of good people and heavy, downtuned, bone crushing hardcore than this tape is for you. These are pro printed/dubbed cassettes stuffed in poly bags with a fold out insert. Edition of 100.

We still have a good chunk of our copies of the Hunger Pains 7" and we are down to our last copies of the Socially Retarded/Daisycutter split 7". We have tons of good stuff in the distro worth checking out.

HUNGER PAINS 7"
Recently we signed on to split release a very awesome record by a band called Hunger Pains. Josh of White Guilt/Shoppers fame plays drums in this band and it seriously rules. He also runs the record label that we are co-releasing it with, Feeble Minds. Here's a little description the Feeble Minds wrote up: "Featuring guitar work akin to the classics in metal-tinged Japanese hardcore coupled with the thunderous rhythm of 90's vegan crust, surrounded by thickly layered dissonance courtesy of front-man Weston Czerkies' solo noise project SUNKEN CHEEK. Members include the same folks that bring you bands like WHITE GUILT, OAK&BONE, SHOPPERS and MAYFLOWER. Syracuse, NY on the rise."

COMING SOON
Next up we have the debut cassette of the UK based band Lich. If you are familiar with their other band Battle of Wolf 359 you know what you are getting yourself into with this one. For those not in the know Lich play downtuned hardcore and instead of the more melodic paths BOW359 take, Lich drench their sound with heaviness. Sticking to that ideal, the lyrics are dark and full of rage. I couldn't be more excited about this release. It is currently at the plant and should be up in the store in the next week or so. This is the US version of this cassette limited to 100. React With Protest is releasing the Euro version.3/30/11

FINALLY
After a healthy dose of complications with the pressing plant and Fed Ex putting the cherry on top by losing the records, we have finally packed these up and sent them out to everyone. Again we are super sorry for the delay and we want to thank those of you who were patient. A lot of different stores will have these as well as the cogs and sprockets CS. CLIPPERS 3" REPRESS
The Clippers are making their way down SXSW this coming friday. They were supposed to have copies of their newest release, a split 7" with Chicago's Coping, but it wont be ready in time. We have decided to repress the 3" CD so they will have it to sell on this tour. PRGNT will have 10 copies in our store and the band will have the rest. Get them while they are hot.

COGS AND SPROCKETS "BLACK FRIDAY" CAS
Cogs and Sprockets is a one man grind unit from Nevada. The Black Friday cassette contains 11 tracks of pure hatred. I would expect this to be playing over the speakers at a mall if a massacre was occurring and everyone was shot to death. This release will be limited to 100 with 2 color screenprinted j-cards. We are proud to announce that we will be working on a split 7" between two absolute rippers. First up is the band Socially Retarded from Chicago, IL. This band has progressively been combining powerviolence and aspects of noise to create a bold brand of music with one common theme, brutality. With new members added to the line up this record is their most creative attack to date. On the other side Daisy Cutter brings us 9 tracks of fury in roughly 4.5 minutes. This band is blazing fast and to the point, attributes most bands cower away from. This is going off the plant on Dec. 1st so prepare to start 2011 thrashing.
THE CLIPPERS 3" CD
The first of our 3 new releases being added to the PRGNT catalog is a 3" CD-R by a group named THE CLIPPERS. This will be an edition of 50 copies with two different screen printed covers, both housed in 3" vinyl sleeves. A handful of these will be available soon in the store. The expected release date is sometime in December
